Who we are

Alison

Owner, Founder, & Director of Treat Distribution

As a lifelong dog lover, I bring over 12 years of experience volunteering and fostering with Chicagoland animal shelters. Through this work, I’ve collaborated closely with shelter staff and professional trainers, deepening my understanding of canine behavior and learning how to support dogs with a wide range of needs. I’ve had the privilege of working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and life stages, including those who are high energy, mouthy, leash reactive, shy / fearful, and much more. My approach centers on helping dogs feel safe, understood, and comfortable in their environment.

Over time, I’ve learned that excellent care begins with recognizing that no two dogs are the same. I prioritize getting to know each dog as an individual — understanding not only their routines, but also their behavioral patterns, training goals, preferred play and relaxation styles, and the support they need to build confidence and trust. This individualized approach allows me to provide care that is both compassionate and consistent with what each dog already knows and will respond to best.

Your dogs are family, and I believe their care should reflect that. Every new client begins with a consultation to ensure we’re a good fit and that I can fully support your dog’s needs and your goals for their care.
